Color Repetition

The fifth grade students learned about the art of Andy Warhol. They used his painting of flowers as
inspiration for their artwork. The students used a transfer process to repeat their design and then painted it with bright colors.

Painting Colorful Stripes

The second graders learned about the bright colors of Mexican blankets and then painted colorful stripes on their papers. Next they will add paper designs to create a collage inspired by Mexican blankets.

Circles in Circles

Our third grade students worked hard to measure and draw their grids and concentric circles. Then they used watercolors to paint these beautiful color studies.

Yesterday, our third graders used black paint to "draw" grids. Today they learned about the primary colors and then used them to add color to their grids.
